【Name of drug】 Safflower Injection

【Active Ingredients】 Safflower

【Description】A yellowish red to brownish red clear liquid.

【Functions and Indications】 

This product has the function of activating blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis and is indicated for treating occlusive cerebrovascular disease and coronary heart disease.

【Dosage and Administration】 

Treatment of occlusive cerebrovascular disease: iv 15ml QD after diluted in 250~500 ml of 10% glucose injection. Each course of treatment consists of 15~20 doses.

Treatment of coronary heart disease: iv gtt 5~20 ml QD after diluted in 250~500 ml of 5~10% glucose injection. Each course of treatment consists of 10~14 doses. The interval between courses of treatment is 7~10 days.

【Contraindications】

1. This product is contraindicated in pregnant women.

2. This product is contraindicated in patients with abnormal bleeding and clotting time.

3. This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to it and patients with a history of serious adverse reactions.

4. This product is preferentially not used in diabetic patients with subhyaloid hemorrhage.

【Precautions】
1. Use of this product should be discontinued during the menstrual period and may be resumed after menstruation.

2. This product should not be mixed with other drugs in a container for use.

3. This product is a Chinese drug preparation. Improper storage may impair the product quality. Before use, this product should be examined against light. It must not be used if turbidity, precipitation, color change, air leakage or tiny rupture of the bottle is found.

4. In the event of adverse reactions, please follow the doctor’s advice.
